Cambridge Putting & Chipping/Pitching Artificial Golf Green
The challenge on this installation was to create the ultimate shortgame at home facility for the client.
It was a complete blank canvas to start and with the client we created the ultimate short game area offering virtually everything for golf short game from a 100 yards and down.
We managed to install a three tier artificial golf green with continuous undulations offering chipping practice a full 360 degrees around sides of the green and three artificial revetment pot bunkers giving every chip, pitch, lob and putting practice you can imagine.
The golf green itself has all golf putting practice covered up to 60ft in length creating straight putts, left to right, right to left, uphill and downhill.
The fun factor to the artificial golf green installation is everywhere you play from whether it be 20 yards over the bunker to tight hole postion to 60 yards over bunker to central hole postion judging the weight and spin perfectly..the dream golf green for the serious golfer looking to practice seriously and reduce his/her handicap or looking to progress in the professional game.
A big highlight for this artificial golf green was when we near completion the weather turned and produce heavy down pours on a particular day all golf courses in the area were unplayable due to flooding but our green still played like a Summers day meaning no matter how bad the weather conditions can get you can always play and practice!!!
This is install was complete with three raised tee boxes specially placed at 25,50, and 75 yards giving the ultimate feel when hitting longer shots into the golf green.
